yay! new monitor!

my new monitor came yesterday, a nice big 17" tft (which is why i didnt update: i was playing the games that my old monitor was too dark for me to play). naturally, i cant afford it, but with the money for my holiday work coming through, and the weekend job that i still dont have yet, i think ill be ok.

anyway, the first week of lectures is over and i made it to a grand total of 3 lectures . i know that sounds bad, but that doesnt include the 4 hour lab session i had on monday, and there was the lecture that i turned up to but the lecturer didnt, and the fact that i only missed 5 - physics seems to require less lecture time than engineering - and its not really THAT bad, is it?

im going hiking tomorrow, same as last week (but you didnt know about that), so ill be out all ay and might not post here. even if i did, i forgot to bring my cameras usb cable, so i cant post any pictures for you.
